My Story

I’m an Aussie writer, based in Tasmania, and a mother to four amazing children, and with the help of my husband we encourage them to live every day with an adventurous mind. Loving every opportunity to have fun and go on adventures together. (For educational purposes, of course.)

My passion is in writing and storytelling, creating worlds to explore and share with the readers. The Adventure starts with the question “What if?” and leads to some amazing journeys and characters with unique personalities and perspectives on the world. 

​

I love to read mostly sci-fi and urban fantasy. Books about aliens, and super-heroes, and adventures. But I also like reading about ancient history (Non-fiction) or watching documentaries about archaeological sites and studies about cultures.— I find it intriguing to learn about ancient cultures, how they lived or if they played well with others, and tracing the rise and fall of kingdoms and empires. (This particular interest aids my other adventures as a minister of The Salvation Army.)

My favourite night of the year is when I finish writing the next series of the book, and my family sets up the loungeroom for a reading night or weekend. We bring out blankets and teddies, and deck the coffee table with popcorn, chips, skittles, m&m, marshmallows and lollies (And of course pizza for dinner.) And I read the journals to them in the voice I had imagined the characters to have.— Come the following week, I have no voice, but it’s all fun and totally worth it.
